This is a brand new song by Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Pharrell called “Sky High Graduates.”
The song can be officially found on the Dub Floyd, Hevehitta, & Kanye West “Fast Forward” mix tape. You can download the full mix tape by clicking here. I highly recommend this download/buy. There are tons of good mixes on with Kanye West and a few featuring Lupe Fiasco. There are about 30 songs on there and all are worth a listen.
Jay Z was performing at Glastonbury the night after Lupe Fiasco. And he too put on a hell of a show. He started off with some fun by singing Oasis’ Wonderwall.
Lupe Fiasco and Jay Z are both performing at the Glastonbury festival. Not only did Lupe Fiasco perform his latest hits, he also got political. While on stage he said:
“Fuck Robert Mugabe, fuck George Bush, fuck all tyrannical world leaders. Fuck politics, democrats, socialists, the Labour party. Music’s what it’s all about.”
Blow is a Youtube video of Lupe Fiasco performing “Superstar” at Glastonbury. If you want to see a 27 minute video of his performance at Glastonbury, click here. It’s a high quality with excellent sound.
“I made this 43 minute record for Nike that just came out today (ahem, cop it on iTunes). The version that’s on sale features my boy Kid Cudi but I originally had Lupe on that track. We couldn’t geet clearance for Lu so i had to take him off. But now that the record’s out, you can have his version. A present… from me to you. ”
Here is a high quality video of the last stop for the Glow in the Dark tour. This was in Montreal and features short clips of all the stars at the concert.
Some of you may have already heard this track by Lupe Fiasco, but here it is again for those of you who might have missed it. It’s a hot track called “FNF Goin Up” from “Lupe The Jedi.”
I have a friend who went to London for the new N.E.R.D album signing. He says the experience was unbelievable. Here are some exclusive pictures for this blog:
I have just uploaded a few new Lupe Fiasco wallpapers. They are all dope so check them out. There’s also a Kanye West wallpaper that looks nice. Here is a preview of some of the wallpapers that I have added. Visit the Lupe Fiasco Wallpapers section to download them.
Lupe Fiasco has just released a new pair of Nike Air Force Ones. The shoes are called “Fall of Rome” and apparently there are only four pairs of these that exist right now. The release date is not available yet.
Here is a cool behind the scenes look at the making of Lupe Fiasco’s “Paris, Tokyo” video. This is one of the newest blog entries on Lupe’s blog. It appears he’s been quite busy lately so he hasn’t been able to update his official blog.
Black skateboarders were looked down upon for many years. Nowadays, just about everyone thinks they are cool and unique. Lupe Fiasco has helped bring new light to black skateboarders and their lifestyles.
Here is a cool video of skateboarders talking about their lives, as well as Lupe Fiasco talking about his views on skateboarding.
Dub and Floyd combine as Team 20/20 to bring remixes and joints of previous Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Pharell songs. There will be no new songs by the official CRS crew but this is at least something. I thought the picture was dope and it got me damn excited for the future C.R.S projects.
This is a rather old video of Kanye West, but it’s damn cool. Watch it and see how Kanye tries to make it in the music industry. In the beginning you see Kanye walking through the mall in Chicago and nobody even noticing him. Imagine Kanye walking through a mall near you nowadays!
Favorite freestyle quote has got to be “you gotta be rich just to be poor there.”
I just found this new remix of Common’s “Go” by K-Salaam & Beatnick. Apparently, Common is making a remix album just like Lupe Fiasco is. It should be hot.
You can listen to Common’s “Go” remix song and download it by clicking here.
For those of you who have not heard Common’s first song off his upcoming Invincible Summer album, you must check it out. It’s called U.M.C. (Universal Mind Control) and features Pharrell.
Listen or download the U.M.C. (Universal Mind Control) song by clicking here.
Lupe Fiasco was a hit at Bonnaroo’s this year. The fans loved him and he loved them back. I’ve found a few videos from the show to share with you all. Check them out:
Hip Hop Saved My Life:
Daydreamin:
The Instrumental:
And finally, I will put up a video of Kanye West’s last performance at the Bonnaroo Festival in which his performance went until the sun came out in the morning. This was the event at which he got booed and light sticks thrown at. I don’t think anyone deserves that, especially Kanye. I’m guessing the people that booed and threw crap on the stage were no real fans. They must have been fans of other music that just decided to stick around.
I will admit one thing, Kanye didn’t give it his 100%. I’ve been at his Glow in the Dark tour and I’ve seen him perform Stronger and many other songs. None of the songs performed at Bonnaroo measured up to the performances he gave at the concert I went to. It’s really a shame but then again, how do you get yourself going when your fans are giving you hell.
There are two stories behind Kanye’s lateness. Some say he was at a birthday party at midnight so he pushed the concert back, and some say that it was another band that stayed on an hour too long. Kanye’s stage is also massive so you gotta give him some time for that as well. He had the best stage and that must have took some time to set up. Apparently, the stage was ready to go at 3:45 and Kanye started performing around 4:15.
Either way, the people should be honored by his lateness, that he would even show up to this fake shit, so go ahead go nuts go ape shit.
“Blackout” is a bonus track from The Cool. It seems quite a few people haven’t heard this track yet so I’m posting it now. It’s got an up-tempo beat and is an instant favorite.
Kanye West got booed at the Bannaroo music festival in Tennessee. He was supposed to show up at at 2:45 AM on Sunday morning, but did not manage to start until 4:25 AM.
Apparently, there were chants of “Kanye sucks” throughout the venue.
I’m sorry but if you are a Kanye fan, you’re not going to boo him. When I went to see Kanye, Lupe and N.E.R.D at the Glow in the Dark tour in Albuquerque, New Mexico my show got delayed 2 hours. Not a single person was booing and it was around 40 degrees outside.
I know the show may have started late, but come on… I bet all the fans still had an unreal time.
On the other hand, Lupe Fiasco’s show at Bonnaroo went incredibly well. The fans were chanting his name and Lupe was giving them the same energy back.
Lupe jumps on this track for a new “Fast Car” remix. Lupe Fiasco’s verse is not very long but it’s still quality. The chorus is damn catchy and unique as well. Check it out:
